Service Description
"Runic alphabets were the first systems of writing developed and used by the Norse and other Germanic peoples. Elder Futhark is the oldest form. It was a writing system used by Germanic tribes for Northwest Germanic dialects in the Migration Period. The 24 runes functioned as letters, but they were much more than that! Rune stones are used as tools of divination - a way to predict one's future. In this workshop, you will become familiarized with each rune and its energetic meaning, learn how to “read” runes and create your own special set. Bring: A notebook, pencil and a sense of magic!
