(Red)act

It's Saturday, October 10th: 10.10.2020 - how's that for the coolest date?!

...and Happy Birthday, Z!!

Even though there are two assignments due by tonight for my Social Entrepreneurial Leadership Class, I looked at the boxes of pears - and prioritized: Pear, Lemon & Ginger Jam.

One assignment was rolling around in my subconscious, as I worked:

"Find two articles on Critical Race Theory (one from the left; one from the right) and write a reflection."

Were you even aware of Critical Race Theory before this year?

As I processed the pears, I listened to various podcasts & news updates, including the request for declassified emails - without redaction.

Chopping ginger, I contemplated the definition of redact:

transitive verb

1: to put in writing : FRAME

2: to select or adapt (as by obscuring or removing sensitive information) for publication or release broadly : EDIT

3: to obscure or remove (text) from a document prior to publication or release

As I cooked things down, I contemplated how I am in the process of redacting texts for my assignment, while the rest of the U.S is waiting for the FBI to get transparent...

Isn't is so bizarre that words, phrases, and concepts have come to mean (& represent) such dichotomous extremes?

Also, I am really working on understanding my role in the world at this time:

Is it to stay the course with my studies?

Is it to reflect out my personal thoughts about what's really going on right now?

Is it to reconcile all aspects of explicit and implicit ways of learning and being?

How about you?

How are you doing with the current state of affairs?

All I can say is: the jam is delicious.
