It was lovely waking up today, Thursday, April 23, to sunshine! Especially when I realized we had moved through the second 4-4-4 portal (yesterday) with a Taurus New Moon...color: green.
Yes, Astrology is one of my tools. I've mentioned how I look to the biodynamic calendar for planting and check the moon (which sign it is in - or if it is void-of-course). So, let's talk about tools. What are your go-to tools?
Beyond a number of fabulous kitchen gadgets, gardening tools, assorted screwdrivers, wrenches and what-not....yes, I have those, too. I'm talking about your dealing-with-life tools.
A few years ago I had a list in a visible place because when you move into fight, flight or freeze, your ability to think clearly is literally shut down by your parasympathetic nervous system. It was important to have my list in a visible place -just in case my brain got hijacked.
Some of my tools on that list were:
HeartMath
Tarot (pulling a card)
EFT (Tapping)
Ho'oponopono
Switch (turning my words around)
...you get the idea. There were several more - each for a reason and purpose (it's good to have the right tool for the job, yes? I suppose I could write a piece on each aspect of these tools...)
Right now, though, I am just throwing out this idea for you to consider. What works for you?
